Anton Thiemke may look and act like a rock star, but actually becoming one took years of preparation. Now, the Danish model-come-musician is reborn as Space Idol.
He started painting some years ago while keep performing his music and working as a model. Thiemke’s practice channels the free hand expressionism of Basquiat and the rudimentary approach of brutalist artists like Jean DuBuffet.
His bohemian look and unique rockstar personality has brought him to appear on the cover of Elle Magazine and editorials like Vogue Scandinavia and Numéro Berlin or starring on the campaigns of brands such as Replay.
